The May/June 2018 issue of The TIPS Report is devoted to reviewing existing TIPS, (handicapping angles and what we informally refer to as 'tipoffs'). And, as always, we include case studies to see how the angles at work in races we've handicapped.

The first article discusses a TIP originally developed by Richard Sullivan. I found myself making use of it more than usual and with great success in isolating strong selections. I thought it would be good to remind everyone on the effectiveness of this tipoff, namely the Half Maiden Class Win TIP.

It is an excellent and quick handicapping screen, and I believe you will find it useful to read the article. For long time subscribers it will be a chance to revisit it. For newer readers, it will be a chance to read about what possibly may be a new angle for you.

The second article discusses the Fresh Horse tipoff, a significant angle which we haven't discussed in-depth in some time.
